Battle in AMS is turn-based. Learning the system of the battle would gives you upper hand.
There are 4 types of units in AMS and each type of units are classified into several levels. In Parade Ground, each unit is a separate basic combat unit in battle.
Would all units participate in the battle? The answer is NO. The space of battlefield is limited, so up to 35 units of different level and types, the amount of which ranks the top 35th among all your deployed units would take part in the battle in the order of their positions.
How could you deal the most damage with limited amount of units participating in the battle?
To achieve that goal, you need to learn about the battle system.
One round of battle ends when all participating units of both sides attack once. In one round of battle, each combat unit attack only once based on the countering relationship and the order of position.
As shown in the pictures above, all units of the attacker and defender stand in their position in the order: Tank > Commando > Copter > Artillery. The attacker sends 2 units of each type to participate in the battle. There are 8 units from the attacker in the battle.
First round of the battle:
Attacker’s Lv.1 Tank that stands in the first position launches attack to defender’s Lv.2 Commando that the Tank counters. Afterwards, the defender’s units launch attack following the same rule.
Attacker’s Lv.2 Tank that stands in the first position launches attack to defender’s Lv.2 Commando that the Tank counters, and so on. After all units of both sides launch attack once, the first round ends.
Second round of the battle:
After the first round ends, all the defender’s Lv.2 Commandos are dead.
Attacker’s Lv.1 Tank that stands in the first position launches attack to defender’s Lv.4 Commando that the Tank counters. Afterwards, the defender’s units launch attack following the same rule.
Attacker’s Lv.2 Tank that stands in the second position launches attack to defender’s Lv.4 Commando that the Tank counters, and so on. After all units of both sides launch attack once, the second round ends.
Third round of the battle:
After the second round ends, all the defender’s Lv.4 Commandos are dead.
Attacker’s Lv.1 Tank that stands in the first position launches attack to defender’s Lv.2 Artillery that the Tank counters. Afterwards, the defender’s units launch attack following the same rule.
Attacker’s Lv.2 Tank that stands in the second position launches attack to defender’s Lv.2 Artillery that the Tank counters, and so on. After all units of both sides launch attack once, the third round ends.
Up to 100 rounds of battle are allowed. Before the number of battle rounds reaches 100, the side who loses all his/her units loses the battle.
When the number of battle rounds reaches 100, the side who loses more power loses the battle.
The buffs that revive the units wouldn’t affect the battle result.
