How to correctly read a battle report in AMS?
 
Based on commander’s feedback about battle report, we found that commander’s confusion about battle report in AMS comes from 3 points:
 
Point 1: Can’t fully understand unit types.
First of all, there is a basic standard to settle victory or failure.
If only one side of the battle has survived units, that side wins the battle.
If both sides have survived units, the side who has less power reduced wins the battle.
 
Let’s check out the following battle report.
Battle Report 1
 

The reason why the attacker loses the battle:
Attacker’s  battle attributes are much better that of the defender, but that can’t cover two weak points that attacker has.
A. The number of defender’s total units is much larger than that of the attacker’s.
The defender has more than 2.7 million units participating in the battle, among which there are 1.83 million Tier 10 and above units, but the attacker has only 0.58 million units participating in the battle.
B. The number of defender’s unit types is much larger than that of the attacker’s.
The defender has 35 unit types, but the attacker has only 7 unit types.
In the battle, one round will be counted when each unit type of both attacker and defender attacks once. The more unit types you have, the more attacks you can launch. Almost all attacks from high tier units of the attacker are wasted on the small amount of Tier 10 or lower units of the defender.
 
Details of attacker’s loss:
Tier 11 SS Missile Launcher(amount: 174), Tier 11 Attack Aircraft(Local Defense, amount: 2), Tier 11 Attack Aircraft(amount: 17063) are all destroyed by the defender’s Defense Facilities.Tier 10 Vanguard(amount: 2200), Tier 10 MBT(amount: 5000) are killed by the enemy in the first round, but only cost the attack chances of defender’s 6 unit types and 12 unit types respectively.
After 22nd battle round, Tier 11 Super Tank(amount: 144746) are all destroyed by enemy units’ 206 attacks.
After 32nd battle round, Tier 11 Motor Squad (amount: 150000) are all destroyed by enemy units’223 attacks.
After 44th round, Tier 11 Attack Aircraft (amount: 266498) are all destroyed by enemy units’545 attacks.
 
Details of damage dealt by the attacker:
Tier 11 Super Tank(amount 144746) launch 22 attacks in total, destroying defender’s Tier 5 Marines(amount: 14961), Tier 7 Paratroopers(amount: 40610), Tier 8 Dynamiter(amount: 78627), Tier 9 Operator(amount: 60503).
Tier 11 Motor Squad(amount: 150000) launch 32 attacks in total, destroying defender’s Tier 5 Turbofan Copter(amount: 35257), Tier 6 Versatile Copter(amount: 35480), Tier 8 Apache(amount: 23488), Tier 9 Hinds(amount: 121823), Tier 10 Ospreys(amount: 54506).
Tier 11 Attack Aircraft(amount: 266498) launch 44 attacks in total, destroying defender’s Tier 5 Recon Vehicle(amount: 39842), Tier 6 Wheeled Tank(amount: 5958), Tier 8 Charging Vehicle(amount: 53286), Tier 9 FSV(amount: 182231), Tier 10 MBT(amount: 391858), Tier 1 Traction Missile Launcher(amount: 12440), Tier 5 Heavy Missile Launcher(amount: 112839).
 
Point 2: Haven’t checked the power of Officer Talent
Battle report 2
 

There are two points which lead to attacker’s failure.
 
A: The number of defender’s unit types that participate in the battle greatly outnumbers that of the attacker’s.
Attacker’s unit types: 1                      Defender’s unit types: 100
 
Battle round:
Attacker launches 3 attacks, but defender launches 275 attacks, destroying all defender’s Vehicles.
B: Officer talent of defender disables attacker’s units to engage in the attack for 3 rounds.
The defender’s officer talent - Vehicle Disturbance has 84% probability and it takes effect during the first 3 rounds. All participants in the defense share the talent effect. The talent takes effect when the officer is deployed. When different members have deployed the officer with the same talent but different talent value, the max talent value would be in effect.
 
Point 3: Haven’t checked the other defense participant’s buff.
Battle report 3
 

There are two points which lead to attacker’s failure.
A: The other defense participant’s buffs are much better than the attacker’s.
Attributes such as Attack, Defense and HP of two defense participants are much higher than the attacker’s.
For example(the screenshot below): In the first battle round, the defense participant’s Tier 9 FSV(amount: 4925) launch an attack, destroying all attacker’s Tier 10 Vanguards(amount: 43367).
 
B: The defense participants have much more unit types that the attacker.
Attacker’s Unit Types: 33                      Defenders’ Unit Types: 68 (3 participants)
