You can choose a profession for your character, to efficiently improve your survival ability. There are 5 professions in the game, each profession has corresponding bonus and abilities.

Take Lumberjack for example. You can learn talents about logging after choosing Lumberjack for profession, to efficiently improve your logging abilities. It takes Profession Skill Points to learn talents. Profession skill point grows over time.

You can only choose 1 profession at a time. You can change your profession after learning all the talents of your current profession.
