Mounts provide various attribute bonuses in addition to movement speed bonuses.
You can select the current mount in the stable, as well as giving them toys to make sure they are in good moods.
Like many features, mounts come with different qualities indicated by their colors.
Mood:
The higher the quality, the higher the max mood a particular mount possess. The bonus movement speed provided by mounts scales with their mood value, so when the mood of a mount drops down to 0, it no longer provides any speed bonus.
After a mount is unlocked, its mood will slowly but gradually decrease. You can use mount toys to recover its mood.

Mounting:
Mounting is unavailable in auto mode, when driving vehicles, or when carrying cargo.
When mounted, most actions including attacking, using skills, viewing companion details, interacting with objects, editing facilities are disabled. Using Items, being crowd controlled, moved or killed will automatically remove mounted status.

Capturing:
A green text stating ‘can capture’ will be shown on a monster that is a capturable mount.
These monsters are typically neutral to players, meaning they can’t attack or be attacked. They simply wander around a small area.
Capturable monsters, which are highlighted on the mini map, refresh once at every hour at their designated areas.

Capturing Tools:
You can capture mounts by using Lasso. The process requires time to channel, after which you have a chance to successfully capture the mount.
